Data Protection

The protection of your data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of legal regulations (GDPR, TKG). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

When visiting our website, data is collected via server log files. This includes:
IP address, start and end of session for the duration of this session, as well as the time zone difference, content of the request, HTTP status code, transferred data volume, the website from which the request comes, and information about browser and operating system.
This is necessary for technical reasons, especially for the technically error-free display of the website and the security and stability of website operations, and thus represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Unless otherwise regulated below, this data is not further processed by us.

Contact with Us

If you contact us via form on the website or via email, your provided data will be stored by us for processing the request, for scheduling appointments, and in case of follow-up questions. We base this on a legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not share this data without your consent.
The processed data includes:
  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Information in the message field

Retention Period

Your data remains stored with us until the purpose of data processing ceases to exist, you submit a justified deletion request, or you revoke your consent for processing, unless there are legal retention obligations that prevent this. In the latter cases, deletion occurs as soon as these retention requirements no longer apply.

Applications

On our careers page, you will find current job postings and an email address to which you can send your application documents. To process your application, we process the documents and personal data you provide (including name, address, resume, certificates, email address and phone number, photo if applicable).
The processing and storage of data is exclusively for the purpose of the selection and hiring process. Your information during the application process is voluntary.
We therefore rely on the legal basis of your consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and in the case of voluntary submission of special categories of personal data, additionally on Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. In other cases, the legal basis is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your data and documents will not be shared with third parties.
Your documents will be deleted after completion of the selection process, but no later than after six months or after the end of the claim period under the Equal Treatment Act.
You have the rights mentioned in this privacy policy, particularly the right to information, correction, deletion, and withdrawal of consent.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as inquiries via our contact form – our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line begins with "https://" and a lock symbol is displayed.
Thanks to this encryption, data you transmit to us cannot be read or modified by third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your device with the help of the browser. They cause no harm.
We use cookies for technical reasons to be able to offer our information service functionally. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
For cookies that are marked as functionally necessary in the cookie window, we base our legal grounds on our legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to make the website technically error-free and user-friendly.
These session cookies are used exclusively to manage your current session (e.g., for language settings) and are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
For cookies that are not functionally necessary, we request your consent in the cookie window according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Only in this case and on the basis of active consent will your personal data be processed for the purpose of analyzing website traffic, user behavior, and for advertising purposes.
Consent can be revoked at any time via our cookie settings and for the future. All cookies are automatically deleted after six months.
When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Use of Google Fonts

Our website uses Google Fonts for uniform font display, which are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The Google Fonts are locally embedded on our server, so no connection is made to Google servers. Therefore, no personal data is transmitted to Google.

To protect our contact forms against abusive automated spying and entry attempts, we use Google reCAPTCHA. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland
reCAPTCHA analyzes user behavior based on various characteristics and checks whether an entry is made by a person or abusively by automated programs.
This analysis begins automatically as soon as the user visits the website. Data such as IP address, browser information, or length of stay may be collected.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background; website visitors receive no separate notice of the analysis. The data collected during the analysis is transmitted to Google.
The use of reCAPTCHA is based on our legitimate interests to protect our web offering from abuse and spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Purpose of Data Processing

The data collected through Google Analytics serves primarily to:
  • evaluate user behavior on the website,
  • create reports about website user behavior,

  • provide other Google services to our company
The processing of your personal data is based exclusively on your consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Before activating Google Analytics 4, we obtain your active consent through our cookie banner by enabling analytics cookies.

The transfer of the full IP address to a server in the USA and shortening there occurs only in exceptional cases.
Google has committed to the EU-US Privacy Shield (or its successor agreement, the EU-US Privacy Framework) and additionally applies standard EU contractual clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. This ensures that Google processes the data collected on this website only according to our instructions and in compliance with the strict requirements of the GDPR.
